Jami's team used to route 19 technicians by hand. Now a skill drafts the schedule.
Teams ask us what people actually do after the training. Jami at CTI took the job that ate his team's month and turned it into an AI skill.
Outcome: A skill that drafts a day-by-day schedule for the whole technician team.
“…my brain hadn't wrapped around building skills. And then after we talked about it, I was like, that's really easy.”
Before
Routing took about 30 hours a month.
Jami's scheduling team routes 19 field technicians. By hand, that took the team about 30 hours a month, so he started teaching AI the job himself, late at night.
What he built
He brought it to office hours, and it became a skill.
At B43 office hours, his work was ready to become a skill: instructions the AI follows the same way every time. We built it together, live in the session.
What changed
The skill drafts the whole schedule.
It groups the sites by area and drafts a day-by-day plan for every technician. The schedule can't be imported into their system, so work orders are still entered by hand. The hours saved aren't measured yet.
What's next
Measure the time it gives back.
What we'd measure next: routing time with the skill against the roughly 30 hours a month the manual process took.

Routing 19 technicians by hand ate 30 hours a month. So Jami started teaching conversational AI the job. Late into the night. Then he brought it to B43 office hours. It's ready. Make it a skill. Now the skill drafts the whole schedule. And Jami gets his time back.
